The Gateway Burnett Heads will be designed as a high quality, mixed use marina village located on the shore of Burnett Heads Boat Harbour. Ultimately offering a 318 berth state-of-the-art marina, a waterfront residential community providing both short term and long term accommodation, a unique blend of maritime and tourism activities, boutique retail, restaurants and cafes and green open spaces which will provide significant amenity for residents and visitors and contribute positively to the existing community of Burnett Heads.
A future resort residential component will occupy the Eastern end, and through thoughtful consideration of the existing waterfront context, a public boardwalk will be situated along the southern edge of the harbour, in front of the apartment buildings. This is linked by pathways to barbeque and picnic areas and a small beach, providing public access to almost the entire waterfront edge of the site.
Approval has been granted for a 318 berth marina with harbour dredging currently underway. Our first marina stage will deliver private marina berths that will be designed to accommodate single and multi-hull vessels as well as commercial berths up to 32 metres.
