The Gateway occupying over 70,0000 sqm of prime waterfront land will be designed as a high quality, mixed use marine village located on the south western shore of Burnett Harbour. It will be the most high profile project planned for the Bundaberg/Wide Bay region, ultimately offering a 318 berth start-of-the-art marina, a waterfront residential community providing both short term and long term accommodation, a unique blend of maritime and tourism activities, boutique retail, restaurants and cafes and green open spaces which will provide significant amenity for residents and visitors and contribute positively to the existing community of Burnett Heads.
Its architectural form comprises a linear cluster of residential and commercial buildings spread along the shoreline. The commercial heart marks the western end of the village. This is to be balanced by a future resort residential component, which will identify the Eastern end. Through thoughtful consideration of the existing waterfront context, a public boardwalk continues along the southern edge of the harbour, in front of the apartment buildings. This is linked by pathways to barbeque and picnic areas and a small beach, providing public access to almost the entire waterfront edge of the site.
A development application has already been approved for a 318 berth marina with the first stage of marina berths scheduled for completion in the first half of 2024.
We are excited to now release for sale The Musgrave and The Elliot, the first of our Coral Sea Collection of residences. These two refined, low rise north-facing buildings will deliver 46 bespoke 2, 3 and 4 bedroom residences and penthouses.
